Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy (born April 16th, 1996) was born in Miami Florida. She is half English, half Spanish. The parents of her include Dennis Alan Taylor an ex-banker and Jennifer Marina Joy psychologist. The father of her is Argentine with Scottish-English descendance. Her mother is Spanish-English. Taylor-Joy has four siblings from her father's previous marriage. The family was at Buenos Aires until she was six then relocated to the Victoria part in London. Taylor Joy said the move from Buenos Aires to Victoria was difficult, and she didn't study English, hoping to go home to Argentina. The school she attended had to be changed to Northlands and then Hill House. After that, she was enrolled at Queen's Gate School, where she took dance classes and appeared in plays. At the age of 16, she left school in order to make a career of acting. Taylor-Joy was born to be an actress from a very young age. The realization of her dreams came when Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modelling job.
